I have been teaching English for over sixteen years, and the last twelve have been at the Prince of Songkla University, Phuket campus. Since working here, I have written and compiled several courses, some just for thirty hours during weekend teaching, and for university, such as, "English through Drama" and "English for Effective Communication", Hospitality & Tourism Management (Hilter Management), and English Discussion, all of which are student-based learning courses.

I used to be an actor for many years, but sadly moved away from the profession as it is very precarious, so I worked my way up in Royal Mail to management positions within processing and delivery. I earned my management degree from Robert Gordon University, and from there, I later studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as means of helping others in positive thinking, it helps me in the classroom to promote self-awareness and most of all confidence.

So, with my Master's degree in TESOL, management experience, CBT, and acting, I find myself being well-rounded when it comes to teaching. I enjoy helping students reach their goals, and hope that they fore-fill their dream job as I have......teaching.

I have just finished my Ed.D in Education on Western and Eastern teaching methodology with cultural awareness, and how it affects the students of high and low context cultures. My own concept from my doctoral thesis "Allidiocentrism" and how to be an Allidiocentric teacher, can be read on

Thanks.
