Pathway to British degrees (bachelor/master) 

top-up programmes

As OTHM qualifications are regulated, graduates are eligible to progress onto degree and master's programmes with advanced entry.

Progression to university programmes with advanced standing:

  • Completion of Level 4 & 5 Diploma(s) together 240 credits, which is equivalent to UK degree year 1 & 2 respectively, allow learners to join Final year degree top-up and achieve a full degree.

  • Completion of Level 6 Diploma 120 credits, which is equivalent to UK degree Final year, allow learners to join relevant Masters programmes.

  • Completion of Level 7 Diploma gives learners 120 credits exemption towards a 180 credits MBA/Masters programme, which means learners only need to complete a 60 credit dissertation to achieve a full MBA/Masters programme.

  • Completion of Level 8 Diploma gives learners 180 credits exemption towards a DBA/DProf/PhD programme,

  • How are the courses delivered ?
    To foster optimal learning conditions, LSBE online programs include synchronous and asynchronous activities: Asynchronous activities: Activities on our LMS including video watching, reading, discussion forums, quizzes, Wikis, written assignment, professional experience/final project, etc. Synchronous activities: 1h to 1h30/week depending on the program of live webinars with a highly qualified and experienced professor More about LSBE Pedagogic Model
  • How will my learning be assessed?
    Assignment Based – NO EXAMS Learners are assessed through the submission of assignments only and there is no online or traditional exam. It implies that you can prepare and submit assignments at your convenience. LSBE values formative assessment, therefore you will have the opportunity to resubmit improved version of your works if necessary.
  • What is the English language level required?
    Non-native English speakers (unless they have undertaken prior schooling in English) are expected to be able to demonstrate English language comprehension at a level equivalent to IELTS (International English Language Testing System) 5.5 to be able to study our qualifications.  Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2  Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 51  IELTS 5.5; Reading and Writing must be at 5.5 If you do not hold any of the above, an English Level Test will be made available for free on your enrolment.
  • What are the technical requirements?
    You should have access to a desktop or laptop and a high-speed internet broadband connection.
  • How do I enrol and register on a course?
    You you can directly enrol and pay through Paypal or by bank transfer (as per instructions available through the enrolment process) or use this Enrolment Form.   • What is included in the Course/Tuition Fees?
    No hidden fees! Our course/tuition fees are all-inclusive, including the students' registration fees with the accreditation or/and awarding body.
  • How can I apply for a scholarship?

  • What are the refund and cancellation policies?
    From the day of their purchase, the students have 14 days to cancel their course and be eligible for a full refund of 100% of the purchase order providing they have not accessed/logged into their course(s). After which, LSBE applies a no-cancellation policy as well as a no-refund policy. If for any reason, you cannot attend the start of a program, you can postpone it to the next session. Students can attend the first course upon receipt of their full payment. No certificate nor diploma will be delivered until full payment has been settled. In case of a financial plan by instalments, any late payment from day 1 will incur blockage of the student's access to LSBE learning platform and the live webinar. More
